Collaborative Promotion Examination Copies Ordering
When you order five (or more) copies of Food Security and Sustainability for the Times Ahead, for resale purposes, we will work with you to obtain publicity in your region and through the media outlets you use for advertising. A review copy of the book and targeted press copy (mentioning your business) will be provided to the media outlet of your choice. The author, Harvest McCampbell, will also be available for telephone or e-mail interviews, if requested. This endeavor will be most effective if you make contact with the media outlet(s) in advance. Newspapers, magazines, radio & television stations, and even some web-sites and blogs—receive many review copies and press releases every week. If they are anticipating a package that will improve their relationship with an advertiser or collaborator, it is much less likely to get buried in the slush pile. A limited number of desk/examination copies are available to qualified retailers, distributors, and educational institutions. Businesses that offer bulk food; herbs as seeds, plants, tea, or supplements; garden seeds and supplies; related books; or that carry Harvest’s herb book, Sacred Smoke, the Ancient Art of Smudging for Modern Times, have priority if requests exceed the allotted supply. After looking the book over you are welcome to put it out on your shelves or list it in your on-line catalog to gage customer response. Please direct your request to: biodiversepress@ymail.com. Standard wholesale and retail discounts are available to qualified merchants; however, all orders must be prepaid. There are several options for ordering and payment.

If you would prefer to remit by cashiers check, money order, or electronic transfer; there is a 15 copy minimum order. However, we will absorb the shipping costs, if media mail will work for you. Please contact us to work out the arrangements.*

Return Policy: Returns are only accepted when preauthorized on the day you receive shipment, for copies that arrive defective or damaged.
