Submissions:

Our mission is to publish titles that will encourage bio-diversity in farms, gardens, urban areas, open space, and that will promote practices, economies, and life styles based on renewable and sustainable resources.. 

We are currently seeking queries related to our mission.  If you are an established writer or teacher with a book idea, which will support families and communities who are striving towards sustainable living and bio diversity, please contact us.  In addition to paperback books of at least 130 pages, we envision a series of full color books, 24 – 40 pages, rich with photos and accompanied by concise text. 

The following are some of topics we would like to cover:
~Soap making with homemade lye
~Small scale vegetable oil production
~Hand processing cotton, linen, and other plant fibers
~Perennial staples
~Unusual tree crops for home or market gardens

We only accept queries by e-mail. Before contacting us you will need to set up a web site.  (A yahoo group site is fine, and they are free.)  For established writers, your web site should include a list of your publication credits and links to samples of your writing.  If you are a skilled teacher, your web site should list your experience, qualifications, class schedule, and sponsors if any. 

Once your web site is up, send us a brief e-mail explaining your book idea, with a link to your web site.   If your idea is unique and fits our production schedule we will contact you for more information.  Contact us at: biodiversepress@ymail.com
