Grants:

Ten percent of publisher proceeds will go towards small book grants for nonprofit organizations that serve low income, minority, and disadvantaged communities.  These book grants will cover shipment of new, unread copies of our titles at no cost to the requesting organization.  We will be working with the authors and contributors of each title to target appropriate organizations. Generally, libraries or organizations that maintain libraries for their staff and clients, programs that offer incentives, premiums or door prizes to their clients to encourage participation, and educational organizations that match the theme of each title will receive priority.

For our first title, Food Security and Sustainability for the Times Ahead, the author, Harvest McCampbell, has requested that we target organizations serving the indigenous people of North America.  Further, requests from organizations that offer services related to life skills, nutrition, gardening, and food security are encouraged.

For more information please contact us by e-mail at:  biodiversepress@ymail.com.  Use “Grants” as your subject line.  Tell us a little about your organization, how you would use any books we are able to offer you, include your non-profit ID number, and send us a link to your web site.  If your request is conditionally approved, we will send one copy of the book for your review.  Upon review, if you find the title is a good match for your organizational goals, we will ship additional copies as the funds become available.  We request that you submit a digital photo and a short story for posting on our web site after your receive your book(s).
